The electoral district of Edmonton--Strathcona (Alberta) covers an area of 79 km2, and has a population of 99,267 with 73,444 registered voters and 209 polling divisions.
The electoral district's boundaries are described as, consisting of that part of the City of Edmonton described as follows: commencing at the intersection of the easterly limit of said city with Whitemud Drive (Highway No. 14); thence westerly along Whitemud Drive (Highway No. 14 and Highway No. 2) to Whitemud Creek; thence generally northerly along said creek to the right bank of the North Saskatchewan River; thence generally northeasterly along said bank to the easterly limit of said city; thence generally southeasterly along said limit to the point of commencement.
